Meeting in the South Ministry Center, this worship service makes primary use of well-known hymns, sung generally with organ accompaniment. Special music is added from our various choirs, strings and brass, and sometimes from recorded contemporary music. Occasionally, worshippers are blessed by singing from soloists, duets, etc.
The structure tends to be somewhat formal--although every week the service slightly varies--keeping in that which is familiar and yet with the provision of variety of forms. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated in every one of our blended worship services.
The preaching usually flows directly from Bible passages, which are also consulted by worshippers, through the pew Bibles. Sometimes, brief dramas are presented to enhance a message. Interviews are occasionally conducted, to help emphasize either a specific part of our ministry, or to introduce worshippers to different aspects of our overall ministry.
Blended worship is conducted each Sunday morning at 8:00 am, 9:30 am and 11:00 am and on most Monday evenings at 7:00 pm.
Listen to a sermon in the Blended Worship Service Archives.
